Are x-shot darts accepted in wars??
I cannot see why they wouldn't be as they are standard off the shelf ammo.

There are some in the GuN dart pool - nothing wrong with them at all. A bit shorter than most brands of Nerf darts but work just fine in the blasters i've stuck them through.

I saw some at Davidov's war last Saturday and they weren't removed.

x shot are perfectly safe IMO, though they won't operate in most flywheel blasters and accuracy with them is probably slightly lower than that of standard elites, that said they do normally fly a bit further than standard darts, personally I back pocket a few for my springer sidearms for the occasional pop shot.

GC permits the X Shot rounds so, yeah, they're used at events. Smile

I have around 100 X Shot darts and what I can tell you is this:

1) Believe it or not the foam is thicker on the blue Bugshot versions compared with the yellow versions. The yellow ones pop right out of my Roughcut whereas the light blue ones work fine.

2) The tips seem virtually indestructible.

3) They don't work in the Stryfe.

4) I found performance to be questionable in mag  based blasters due to the shorter length of the dart.

5) I prefer them in front loading blasters compared to Elites because they tend to "squish" less when you push them in, and the foam seems to last a heck of a long time (the blue ones at least).

6) My kids scream just the same when I shoot them with these versus Elites.

da, we knew they were there and all is good. The majority, though not all, of darts available in the shops are fine, the one's that are not are generally obvious with things like plastic tips for target use only.

As far as flywheelers go, they do tend to work in more powerful ones- they don't need such a good grip on the dart, I guess, so just getting a wee bit of tip is enough  (a more solid trigger pull helps too, seriously).

There's an obvious tactical advantage here to using ammo not everone can shoot back  Laughing Juts like using short suckers that cause more flywheel jams

I tried in a non-modified Stryfe and the tip actually ended chewed up. I didn't try again after that! Like you say more powerful ones might fare better.

From my own experience with the yellow and purple varieties, these work beautifully in front-loaders, acceptably in mag-fed springers, just fine in a modded RS but not at all in a Stryfe, it just jams every time - I presume it's down to a difference in pusher length.

The foam is really nice at first but does seem to degrade more quickly than Elites or Waffles, mine have started to fall out of front loaders after a few months of intermittent use.

Spot on with the yellow and purple varieties, but there seems to be a big difference with the light blue foam. My son has a handful of yellow and purple ones and they simply won't work now in any of my front loaders (Roughcut, Jolt, etc) as the foam is soft and they fall out. However I've been using the light blue ones every week since Christmas and many of them are as good as new still. I got a few packs for 2 each and if I could find them again at that price I'd buy more as they are a really good dart for front loaders.
