As much as I enjoy the GuN events I can also appreciate the effort required to organise before, during and after each event. Trying to run an event with 40+ kids is always going to be testing.
Unfortunately the shouting to get heard over the din of kids laughing, joking and sharing last game antics is probably always going to be needed, as everyone needs to understand that we are flinging foam darts around at each other and on occasions is going to be at very short range. So there fore some basic rules need to be put in place to keep accidents to a minimum. I think having a couple of marshells doted around the event with potential radio contact would help and I for one would be welcome to help out where required if required.
Because I for one wouldn't like the event to stop because the running was left to the same person/few persons all the time and it got too much.

Thats the first time i've heard that whistle being referred to as 'quiet'. According to the app I have, its 114 db! What we'll probably do is arm each marshall with a whistle and co-ordinate via the radios so that its easier to hear.

This seems like a great idea as the whistle is quite powerful and shrill up close so I would like to avoid being too near anything louder but it is, at the same time, lost amongst the sounds of play when more distant.

As for my previous comment, I meant the end part to be a little more significant than it seemed. The new management approach may not have been entirely to my tastes but it did keep people more in line. It did result in better understanding of the rules. And, whether the decreased loading time was to my disadvantage or not, it does, as mentioned by someone above, mean more play time.

That video really hits home at how busy the events have become! Thanks for doing the video!
