This is a great improvement in the plastic version; however, the weight of the hammer reduces blaster performance!

Do you recommend it, as I am on the fence and need a "buy this or don't buy this" kind of review.

Buy it. I like them a lot, I've got 2.

I might have a play around one day and see how the added weight of renewal hammer affects it all.

I get just under 90fps from mine which I don't think is bad.

It isn't too bad but i think the blaster parts and a 7 shot cylinder would be better

I have have both the OMW and Blaster Parts kit + a 7 dart cylinder.

I must say I prefer the OMW it is one shot less but it feels and looks a lot better, whereas I feel the Blaster parts kit feels cheap.

The OMW kit was also just a drop in and it worked, whereas the Blaster Parts kits always seem to need work to get it to work correctly; issues with the trigger and hammer where smalls parts of the shell need cutting. This is amongst over long term issues with high usage of the blaster parts kit.

I would say the down fall of the OMW kit is the fact the grip on the metal trigger seems to still be a bit rough on the old fingers/thumb.
