That's interesting, because the more I watch, the more I don't want one. I guess not every blaster is going to be to everyones taste.

I think it's the fore grip that really puts me off. It's the one downside of a stock Demolisher which is why I chopped mine off. And the added performance doesn't seem to outweigh the slightly quirky grip.

Yea I watched that earlier justajolt......and it hasn't helped. My modded RS spits out darts pretty quick, a Hyperfire modded might be quicker, but is there a thing as too quick. I can't see the hyperfire ever besting the Rs for comfort.

(Disclaimer: I am yet to even hold a Hyperfire so in this case I literally am talking rubbish)

And that's the thing... For much less money, an RS does the same dart-spamming job at a more manageable rate of fire. There's a point where a certain ROF achieves a tactical objective like covering or clearing a corridor in a game and going beyond that point doesn't help, beyond helping you get good at tactical reloads.

And I agree, I find my Rapidpistol (essentially a butchered RS) easier and more comfortable to wield.

In fact, when I chrono'd the two, HF only outperformed the RS in stock form. I know that mods and motors etc will change the whole blaster, but since I already have something ready made which does the same job, I can't see many reasons to adopt it as a gaming blaster.

That said, it's sure fun to fire darts off that quickly at least once in your life! And I bet a great many kids up and down the country will love dinking around the house or their street with it, being able to spew darts at a fun ROF and hitting much harder than the RS.
