Post Works in progress. Pics required.  Reply with quote
This is a thread for you to publish pictures of your unfinished work.
Please post pictures with your replies.

This thread is here so you can show off blasters that may never be
seen when finished or might be rubbish when finished but have a good principle
behind them.
Please do not turn this into a discussion thread.

So, I'll start:

The internals of a nearly finished "Nitejolt".

From the outside its a reletivly clean job.

Sorry for the double post, but if I am the only one who wants to share projects. Confused
OK, so I have been working on a quick release clip holder.
Needs some refinement, but when done should come in handy.

At the moment I only holds 6 dart clips.

I'll join in. Why not?

So I was bored one day and decided to mess about with an old Maverick.
I started by cutting the top bar off above the turret to make it a little more ghetto chic.

Then I wondered if I could improve the air seal. So I glued the rotating mechanism straight onto the turret.

Along with a sliver of foam over the end of the plunger tube it worked great.

I'll get round to finishing it one day.

Bump so that UKNerfWar/ Admin can sticky.

EDIT: I'd thought I'd comply with the rules and add a WIP.

Here is my Tornadobow w/Lightning Blitz integration.

I still need to get the internals made!

This is my brass breech stampede, but using a different scheme from that of SG Nerf.
At the moment I am still testing, and the blaster is held together with hair-bands.
But in the upright position, the breech is working. Now I need to flip it 180 to see if it works with a clip.
If it don't then I will max out he spring, and it will be a singled stampede.

Please, please, please, please resize your pics. The site is really struggling with them. I don't want to have to start removing pics but I will if the forum starts to suffer.

Why don't you just resize the pics on imgur and update the links?

I believe I set the maximum at 800x600 but 640x480 should be more than sufficient.

To avoid future issues you can ask imgur to automatically resize your images when you upload them.

Just needs a stock, side plates on the foward grip and clean up the shell. Plus paintjob obviously.
