Cheers for editing them. I would never have got around to editing my footage, and no one wants to see the raw footage.

Next time we need to play around with angles for the camera I think. i have a chest ring I might bring just to see how that works......arms might get in the way a little bit.

I'm glad you put the death of my Rapidstrike in there, was so annoyed when that went as I was having so much fun with it.

Also, edit your double posts before admin see....again.

A chest rig would be interesting.  But you're right, I think our arms would get in the way.  It's doesn't help that I'm 6'2", and you're quire tall too.  My head rig had my camera higher up again by a few inches.  So much of the footage is from up on high, plus your first game had the camera angled up, and it shows - good job we sorta fixed that... I need to get a head rig like yours.

I think if we point the camera down slightly and make an effort to use the blasters we have at a higher position, or like an "operator" as certain YouToobers refer to them as, that may make for more of a First Person Shooter effect... although that's a lot to think about whilst trying to run, shoot a moving target and not get tagged yourself.

It was hard enough remembering to keep the camera angled towards the action at the end of HVZ - Shooter, I just want to collapse in a heap!

Ive got a Gopro chest mount if I can make it you can use.
Its pretty adjustable so will do you fine. Footage is good a tad odd but nevertheless looks good!
Ill be rocking a headcam if I make it (emphasis on that  Very Happy ) so that will give you more footage!

Hi Guys!
I totally missed this post! The war looked like an absolute blast!

We raised enough money to buy almost another 1000 koosh darts, so hopefully we will be better off next time and the entry fees can come down =]

Next time we will need to ensure everyone has eye protection. This is a mandatory requirement!

I would be up for the 28th of August but I am unsure whether or not we can use the same venue, if not we can arrange for September!

Look forwards to actually going next time!!!

Great job, NewportNerfer! Editing takes ages and to get all of those done and posted must have been an undertaking ^_^ What software did you use?

If you haven't yet, give NN's vids a watch!

Thanks JustaJolt.

I used good ol' Windows Movie Maker. In all, I probably spent about 7 or 8 hours editing and uploading.  Plus the time to watch them and decide what to keep in.

I learned quite a bit and when I've watched some of the videos back I can see things I'm not happy with. This is just extra motivation to do a better job next time 😀

I use windows live MM too.

It always scares me a bit because it sometimes crashes and then you lose everything! I plan it all carefully so I can do one vid in one editing session as fast as possible with as few snips as possible!

And yeah, you get better every time! Even then, great job on those. It must be hard making those southern Nerfers who think they can beat us look good! Razz

By the way, happy Yorkshire day for tomorrow!
