SEO freelancers up for a job?

Who among you has some knowledge on sem and seo?I'm trying to set up my own blog and am aware that there are a lot of resources online but I think I'm better off getting a freelancer to do the job.

SEO freelancers up for a job?

I'm don't know much about the different techniques that the two have. I'm just aware that SEO and SEM are important in marketing a business online. Maybe, you are correct the you need to get some help from a freelance or a professional who can help you about your blog.

Setting up the blog bit should be fairly simple and something you can do yourself. Getting your content to reach the right audience, that's what will cost you and where the experts are needed.

Most online blog sites will do all the basic SEO work for you. Now paying someone...This is something that  if it is your main source of income, or your plan it to be, I wouldn't bother paying anyone, just tag your blog posts and spread it about the internet; social media, reddit, etc. It is all one big circle.

I am not expert, of course, I just do most the basics for my clients and move them onto a marketing expert if they want more but this is at a silly cost.

Yep, I gave that some thought and will do the blog set up on my own since most entrepreneurs I've talked to have done this bit on their own, too. Thanks!

Thanks for the tip, I really do appreciate it. Does SEO cost a lot to do if you hire someone to do it for you? big companies employ marketing firms that offer SEO services but I doubt that I can afford that so outsourcing some of the work to someone in india or the philippines might do me some good?

I always include initial SEO set-up in my website cost and then charge per hour but only do the basics and recommend to my clients they hire professional marketers if they are serious and have 100+. I think most  marketing/SEO experts charge 30+ an hour and you would be looking at 500.00-5000.00 (I know that is a stupid difference) for a small company and then $5000.00+ stupid monies for big companies! I know that private medical consultants in London spend 5000.00 a month off Adwords alone.

Marketing and all its in and outs is silly monies. in all honestly set-up some basics yourself and use social networking maybe chuck a 20.00 or so at FB ads

You could try hiring from sites like Upwork. I've hired a freelancer there for SEO back when they were still oDesk.
