Attention All BritNerf Members!

Recently there has been an influx of hypothetical threads. On behalf of the admins, I ask that such posts be discontinued. They clutter the forum and add additional work load for the server. As soon as you have tested your hypothesis or at the very least completed the majority of your testing, threads detailing your experiment are welcome. Thanks!

Hi can you define hypothetical threads? Thanks.
SSGT

Basically, you have an idea, but that is all. No testing, no detail, no actual progress.

Here's what NH has to say on the matter, I personally think that their guidelines are tip top.

DO NOT Post a 'which is best' thread, a 'what mods should I do to my [blaster]' thread, etc. Read the forums, make your own decision.
DO NOT Post a concept thread. If you have a great idea, try it out yourself first and let us know how it goes. Unless you have something concrete to show us, keep it to yourself. (active build logs, work-in-progress threads etc all fall under this category)
DO NOT Post just to plug your Nerf website. Especially do not plug a non-Nerf site. Looking at you here especially MyLastDart.

A hypothetical thread is a thread asks or states one or more things without any other content. It might propose an idea for a mod without the poster ever having actually going through with said idea. Here is a perfect example (Nothing against Hazard7)

Glow In the Dark Rayven
I dont know if this would be cool if you made the Rayven with a glow in the dark paintjob and maybe some LED mods on the gun.

Rust-Oleum's glow in the dark spray paint:

Imagine using this gun in a LazerZone place or a home with some UV lights.

Please refrain from backseat modding, which is also against the forum rules.

I think thats counter productive if you are correct tBG. to not allow mod discussion That would most likely. be to. the detriment to this site. It's actually one of the pillars of the site.

I dont believe i have knowingly promoted a non-Nerf site. Have i? Please link:

My discussions are always Nerf hobby related, so I miss your point there. I think you will find im one of the most active users for generating thought and discussion, and instead of duplicating my posts i give snippets. People can choose to read/click to read further. This actually helps the sites bandwidth also.  Rolling Eyes  I'm pretty positive i dont random link spam Smile

A suggestion if i may. When I ran an mmo alliance forum with 2k users, dupe discussion and requests were rife. A simple. caps sticky saying rREAD BEFORE YOU CREATE A NEW THREAD and explain how to use search function always first.

I'm shutting this thread down before it devolves further into the realm of back seat modding and petty bickering.
