Now Battle of Britain has finished and a resounding win for EVERYONE who played, North and South, can be declared, I thought I would publish the guide we worked up for training day.
This is intended to be a FUN way to add some slightly more involved teamwork into your games, NOT a way to behave like a Milsim facist. There are a million ways to  Nerf with friends, many of which were on display at BoB.
The guide was developed from the combined experience of several long standing players, military field manuals and training material (adapted for the extreme short ranges and lack of air support!) from the excellent British 1944 field manual through to present day CQB and scouting manuals. It's greatly foreshortened so as not to be overly tedious.
Read the guide, feel free to print and use any bits you like, form some squads and try stuff out. Eventually we hope to make a small e-book of the Nerfers Field Manual

HERE IS THE CURRENT VERSION.

Loving the springer peasant hand signal Smile

A useful guide. I need to remember to not stick my head over the top of obstacles. I'm a tall enough target as it is without making it any easier to get tagged...

Thanks for posting this. I think I'll get onto refining it and adding more stuff over the next couple of months. GC's 23rd Heavy Infantry could use something like this with an expanded section on how to integrate melee. Smile

We need a hand signal for "220fps Springer" that isn't offensive...

Nice guide. Thanks for the post!

Small unit tactics, Combat Strategy and Phases as well as building clearing guides are also useful and it would be good to read something like this written from a nerfer point of view.

For a 220fps springer just flip the horns, flip two for a Nemesis wielder!
