Earlier this week I received some Meishell 2.0 motors. I have run a Chrono shoot with them in a stryfe with a stock cage and stock wheels. I used a 7.4v 2s Lipo with a 65C discharge.

With this set up, over a 30 dart shoot using new Elites I got an average of 108 fps. Full data here

At first I thought this was a little low, but after discussing these figures with a few people I am quite pleased with them. They consistently hit over 100 fps which is pretty good.

I then added a Artefact Cage but left the stock wheels on. This gave an average of 110 fps. Full data here.
Not much of an improvement for the cost of the cage really.

Then finally I added some worker wheels. This gave an average of 127 fps. Full data here.

There were a few darts going do to around 105 fps so I ran the test again. This time with an average of 130 fps.   Full data here.

I was very impressed with these figures. I therefore ran tests with Koosh and Waffles Tips:

Koosh:126 fps. Full data here.

Waffle: 116 fps. Full data here.

A reminder that 180's have shot a 104 average in a Stryfe. If you check the modified blaster post in the vault there's lots of good comparative data.

If you are posting in the data forum please tabulate your results and post a link to them.
People come here for the complete data spread.

^. A mean average tells us very little on its own. With the full data spread, I can calculate useful stuff like standard deviation (a proxy for consistency) and start looking at histograms and normalcy tests to assess data quality. Smile

Updated the OP with full data sets. I hope its all in a format that is up to standard. I'll make sure I upload any further data like this in the future.

That's great Dave, thank you. I think the larger diameter of Koosh plays a big part in the averages!
My sets of this motor are on their way shortly so expect some data from me as well, then we can compare.
That Caldwell app certainly cuts data processing time.

It's amazing. You can literally send it straight from the app to Google Drive in the spread sheet format. Ideal for a lazy person!

Looking forward to seeing your data.
