Post How did you find us?  Reply with quote
I have recently been thinking about a Britnerf recruitment drive and since we have recently had an influx of new members, I thought it would be a good idea to do a bit of research.

So, new members and old, can you tell us a little bit about how you found Britnerf? Were you lurking for long? If so, what encouraged you to finally create an account?

The information you provide will help us to reach out to other UK nerfers that have not yet discovered our little community and eventually, help it grow.

Thanks for all of your continued support.

A google search once led me to the Nerf Mods and Reviews site, where their IRC chat eventually found out my nationality and sent me here. I got involved pretty quick, though I can't remember exactly how I started out, and stuck around for the helpful, friendly and amusing community. Also the deals, everyone loves deals :p.

It was a quick google search for me. I'm a member of a forum for a Seperate hobby and find it a great source for information and what not, so when I got into Nerf again I thought id see if such a place existed. Initilly it was mainly American sites I found but after narrowing it down abit I found britnerf and signed up. Rarely post but lurk everyday to see what's occurring.

I found BritNerf whilst I was watching a couple of YT videos, when I stumbled across one where someone got a sonic series deploy, and had the link in the description. Ever since, ive been on here once or twice a week, looking at the stuff other members have been posting. As for potential advertisement, couldnt the people who have accounts on YT do a bit of advertising at the start/end of their videos, just a suggestion.

A friend (ubershinysheep), who unfortunately no longer frequents the forums, told me about Britnerf and suggested I should sign up.

I saw a link to this new forum on someone's signature on another forum and checked it out. Got in at the ground level as member number 7 of the forum and was on the first ever mod/admin team.

That was my deploy, I too found this place via YouTube whilst searching for a fix for my lads broken longstrike.
Maybe a britnerf YouTube channel were members can submit vids on mods or show off rare blasters ?
