I'm starting to think there's something wrong here because these Hellcat 180s are horribly under-performing. The data for the first trial is here. I gave up after the first so as to not waste more Koosh going forward.

I've checked the balance and weights of the flywheels, those are fine. There's no gross problem with the install and the wiring is all electrically sound. I'm getting a lot of foam burn over the chronograph and disappointing numbers. I've only got 1 blaster configured to take 180s in the flat so trying a different shell isn't exactly possible.

I'm publishing this data in line with my All Trials principle. Even the dud data gets published because it can be of some use. Smile

Odd, maybe you got some kind of faulty Hellcats or MTB messed up their production model of Hellcats.

https://youtu.be/qCIJFvU7ihg That's what you should be getting.

That is odd! I wonder if there is something wrong with the flywheels themselves like the mounting point is bored out or if you ended up being sent the wrong set. I also heard there are some issues with fitting and maybe your cage needs to be fine tuned or trimmed.

The Worker flywheels are correctly installed, trust me, I've put enough of them in things to know. I've fixed the cage collision problem that they came with out of the box in both the Stryfe and Rapidstrike. Don't forget, I've been using these Workers this entire GC season without incident. I don't think it's a flywheel problem.

From where I'm standing there are 2 likely candidates. One, yes, it could be a motor issue. I'm not noticing any sort of dissonance or other problems coming from the front of the cage. The other, second problem, could be the rifled barrel I've got in the front of the RS. I'm hesitant to pin the problems entirely on it but I don't have a Stryfe that's 180 compatible to be able to check.

Finally, I don't exactly trust the F1 chronograph to produce reliable data. They are well known to shoot high, even under ideal conditions.

I think I'll need to wire up another Hellcat set and try a second run. Now where are my ear plugs? Very Happy
